MYOB Capture App not appearing in iOS app store

Hi, 

I have been using the Capture app for a very long time with no issues. Today I deleted it with the intention of reinstalling it as it wasn't working properly.

Now, when I go the Apple App Store, the MYOB Capture app doesn't even appear as an option for download!? I have been trying on and off for hours. It is simply not there.

 

I have previous installed this app on two other devices for our team, so I am familiar with the app and process. It is no longer on my device and not appearing in the app store as a download option. I have tried searching MYOB Capture and MYOB and have scrolled for pages but it is just not there.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

    Hi DanTopRung,

     

    Sorry you’ve had such a tough time with the MYOB Capture and Invoice apps, it’s the last thing we want for you and your business. The apps MYOB offers are add-ons and aren’t part of your subscription. As such, we can't consider refunds or rebates for the app being unavailable. The good news is, our team’s on it and working to get things back up and running. We will be releasing a replacement to the capture app in Australia this year, but we will also be making sure that the current app is returned to the app store for our New Zealand customers and anyone else needing access to it. We don’t have a launch date for the fix just yet. As soon as we have any news, we’ll make sure to share updates right here in the forum.

    Totally get how frustrating  this must be for you. We don't have an exact time just yet, but you can keep an eye on our Status Hub for updates as soon as they roll in.

    I 100% agree with Jozi. 
    I too fell foul of this today. 
    After struggling for a couple weeks, today I decided to reinstall the app only to find it gone.
    I use this app daily, and it's included in the monthly price we pay that keeps increasing. 

    With increased pricing I expect current working features to be maintained not just taken down when there's difficulty. 

    I want this app back as this heavily affects my workflow and time effectiveness. 

    As a customer I'm sick of being dismissed by MYOB.

    I don't think the Capture app should be considered an add-on, it's been an essential part of MYOB essentials for many years and was touted as a feature of essentials. 

    You can't use the app by itself without using a MYOB subscription, therefore the app forms part of the product we're paying for, it's an app that can be optionally downloaded and used by those people wanting that convenience.

    The app you've linked is the MYOB Solo app which is designed to be an all in one app for sole traders to manage their business. The replacement app we are planning on releasing will replace our existing Capture and Invoice apps, bringing their functionality together into one streamlined mobile experience. You will not need to pay additional subscription charges to use it, it will be included with your existing MYOB subscription.

    Same problem. It was not working so removed the capture app, but now it is not on the iOS AppStore. This seems to have  been a reported problem for months! When will it be fixed?

    I’m am so over this so called  capture app on my iPhone trying to do business sending invoices, receipts to the bookkeeper to no avail every day for weeks and weeks not working at all

    saying highlight your receipts line up your receipt !!! In doing that over and over it still doesn’t acknowledge it 

    Not happy at all how can a big business that has thousands of clients allow this to remain still lingering on and not be fixed  

    should be compensated with a discount/ rebate for the functions we have paid for are not in it’s entirety 

    I even bought a new iPhone 2 days ago thinking new technology might assist with a resolution, no same deal 

    Please find a solution to this ongoing saga find another method for the App Store clients
