Incorrectly entered purchase for inventory now impacting inventory values

I entered a purchase (should use order instead of purchase) too early by mistate, as it affected my inventory, so I changed the quantity to 0, thought it will give me the current correct inventory be...

Hi sunlit 

 

Sorry to see that no one has offered assistance with your query. The inventory can be affected in multiple ways other than purchases. For example, if you create a sale or do an inventory adjustment.

 

If you go to; Inventory > Item Register > Filter by that Item > you will see any transactions that will be affected the item. 

 

At this stage, you can either delete the incorrect transaction or do an Inventory Adjustment.
