MYOB Assist not working for staff..

I have 20 staff who have been using the Capture App to upload receipts into the system. When I set them up they were only allocated Read Only access and could not access anything other than Time billing as they were not allowed to view any part of the file and this was the only way to ensure this was the case.  Now staff are telling me that they cant upload to the new Assist app as they are not able due to being read only ?????  How am I able to get around giving them access to upload receipts without them having access to the file ??

    Hi JenSch

     

    I can see how that could present an issue with security, and it’d be great to use the MYOB Assist app in read‑only mode. For now, the app follows the company file’s permissions, so it needs write access to Sales to work properly. We’ve passed this on to the dev team as feedback, and we’re hoping to offer a read‑only option down the track.

     

    If you’d rather not give staff Sales write access right now, you can use the email‑to‑Intray option instead.
