Can't export Excel

I can see this has been a problem in the past but none of the resolutions seem to be able to fix the issue.

I have tried to export as a .csv but when I then open it in excel, the data is all in one column which is useless for sorting by column.

Has there been an update?

Thanks in advance

Nearly forgot.....  this is the error message

I've tried unclicking all options in the Trust Centre File Block Settings.

Hi Accounts12341 , the xlt file is the template that AccountRIght uses to create the Excel file.

I suggest do (in turn, checking in between):

    • make sure the xlt file is accessible and not read-only
    • clear the AccountRght cache
    • do a quick repair of Office (my go-to fix)
    • re-install your AccountRight program.

    From another forum post:

This issue could be due to a couple of potential reasons, such as the file being corrupted, saved on a server that isn't accessible, or having read-only restrictions.

If the file is stored on a shared network or server, ensure that it is accessible and not marked as read-only.

The "custldgr.xlt" error might be caused by a corrupted Excel template. You can try repairing or reinstalling Microsoft Office to refresh any damaged templates.

Sometimes, cached files within MYOB can cause export issues. Clearing the cache may resolve the problem. You can find instructions on how to clear the MYOB cache here.

    Thanks Mike

That's all above my pay grade I'm afraid!  I've sent your response to our IT guy and will update once I know what has worked.

    Thanks again.
