new user can not find datafile online version of Accountright

Hi I have set a new user up but when he logs into the online version he can not see any datafiles. I have sent him the invite a couple of times now and the same issue. See the screen shots attached. He is using a Mac with Chrome as the browser. thanks

    Hey CCIA​ 

    The second screenshot you've provided looks to be the my.MYOB screen. If you follow the instructions on this page to add a user, are you prompted to invite them via my.MYOB? If it continues to open up in my.MYOB please get in touch with our team for further assistance, available contact options can be found on this page.

    Hi Amanda

     

    I did set him up from the company file, see the other screen shot.

    my.MYOB created the user profile itself. when I went to try and edit it the program took me to my.MYOB.

    You'll need to invite the user directly from the company file itself. If you're in the desktop you can do this by selecting Setup > User Access from the top taskbar.

    If you're using the browser this can be done by clicking the settings cog on the top right and selecting Users and permissions.

     

    We recently announced that we are retiring my.MYOB, more information can be found on this page. If you use my.MYOB to manage users (like you have in your screenshot), this can now be done directly from your company file. We have published step by step instructions on this page, you'll be able to toggle between desktop and browser depending on what you're logged in on.
