Accessing Online file after cancelling subscription

I am aware that I can take a local back up of an Account Right online subscription file prior to cancelling a subscription, but my question is, can I then view this file as "read only" on a local dev...

Hi Kel359, 

 

Thanks for your post and welcome to the Community Forum ! If your AccountRight file is online and you're planning on cancelling the subscription, you will need to take a back up of the online file. Once backed up you can restore this file locally via your AccountRight desktop program and view the file as read only.

Thank you for that. Does the desktop program need to be the most recent version of Account Right?

    Hi Kel359, 

     

    You will need to open the backed up file in the version of AccountRight that you saved the back up in.
