If you use a 3rd party app like Service M8 (we do) then setting the default surcharge to "on" won't work anyway.
The default "on" only works when the invoice is CREATED in MYOB, my understanding is that if the invoice is coming from a 3rd party, then the default won't work and you have to tick it every time. I hate it!
