Can not print or attach open orders

Since yesterday, we could not print directly through MYOB or no attachment in the emails we sent, then we found it only happens when we tried to print or attach the open orders (yellow). The closed orders(blue) are fine. Could someone help?

    Hi Princess

Thanks for getting back to me.

We can print orders now since the most recent MYOB update this week however when our team tries to email orders from MYOB, the attachment is still sometimes missing. Occasionally it works, but the issue is intermittent.

I can confirm that our printers are working fine. Thanks

    Hi PB77,

Thanks for the detailed description and for the screenshot of the error. I haven’t been able to find a known issue that matches this exact pattern for Orders only.

For the “Cannot convert null to 'int' because it is a non-nullable value type” error, a few things worth trying are:

    • Make sure every field in the form has been filled in
    • Try using one of the default forms instead of a customised form
    • Clear the AccountRight cache
    • Try the browser version as well, just to see if it’s only happening in the desktop app

Given this is intermittent and appears to affect Orders only, I do think it’s best for our support team to investigate further. Please reach out using any of the available support options on our contact page so they can take a closer look.

    Cheers,

    Princess

    Hi Princess

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

The issue affects multiple users and PCs. The Order PDF can be generated successfully using Send To > Disk. However, Print Preview intermittently fails, and whenever Preview fails, the email is sent without an attachment. Invoice custom forms do not experience this issue. This makes me think the problem is more likely to be a bug in AccountRight's PDF preview/email generation process for Orders.

    Hi Princess

We lodged a support ticket several weeks ago but have yet to receive any response.

Today we updated MYOB, hoping it would resolve the issue and allow us to email orders through MYOB again. Instead, the problem has become even worse. Not only are we still unable to email orders from MYOB, but we can no longer print from MYOB either.

This issue is now seriously impacting our daily operations, and we urgently need assistance. Could someone please investigate this as a priority? If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, please arrange for a technician to visit our office in Silverwater, NSW. We would also appreciate an update on the status of our original support ticket.

We've now been waiting for several weeks without any communication and would appreciate a prompt response.

    Thank you.

    Hello PB77,

We had the some problem trying to email orders from our desktop version. The lovely people @ MYOB asked us to run all these different options regarding our printers, ( including bashing them) which proved pointless. Upon investigating ourselves we came up with the following fix. Link attached, I hope this helps with fixing your problem / issue.
