Sorry to hear that you've been trying to get this sorted for so long. I'll make sure that we get to the bottom of it!
When the error message comes up saying 'Something's gone wrong and AccountRight needs to close" do you get the option to click on "View error details" at all? If you get the option to click on that, more information about the error should display.
I'd also suggest checking out this page and ensuring the file settings match up with what's listed so that you have the correct settings to be able to delete transactions. I'd also suggest trying in the web browser version as well, do you get an error message come up at all when you try?
