It appears that in the last week the Statement Text length available in the Pay Bills section that shows on the bank statement has shortened. Can this be fixed please? It needs to be long enough to fit the ATO PRN, sometimes 18 characters long. I have found a fix for today by going into the card file and changing it under the Payment Details tab, however, this can often be changed on a weekly basis.

You shouldn’t be hitting a limit like that, let’s get you back to normal. The Statement Text field in Pay Bills is designed to accept up to 18 characters. If you’re only getting 15, that’s not expected. Try closing and reopening AccountRight, that usually restores the full 18. If that doesn’t help, clear the AccountRight cache. We’ve also seen the browser version consistently allow all 18 characters. If none of that works, jump on live chat via MOCA or log a support ticket through My Account so our team can dig into what’s causing the issue.

This has happened again! It is only allowing space for 15 characters in the Statement Text section of Pay Bills screen, I need 18. Am I the only one experiencing this issue? Can someone please look in to why it keeps happening?

1 I tried to put this in the Accountright section and may or may not have achieved that correctly as it was very difficult to navigate, it used to be easier.
2 This is not a suggestion. It used to be 18 characters and for some reason has reduced to only 15 characters between last week and this week. It needs to be resolved back up to 18 characters please.

Thanks so much for sharing what’s happening with your Statement Text and always keen to make sure your ATO PRN fits nice. The Statement Text field in Pay Bills maxes out at 18 characters, so squeezing in anything longer isn’t doable.
