Online Payment - showing as off but still on

Hi - I'm hoping someone can help.

Last week I turned off the Online Payment and everything was good apart from the ugly green "View Invoice" button going out on all my emails.

Today I have gone to send out my weekly invoices and the first invoice I sent out reverted back to showing the Online Payment again - yet when I go into my settings it is showing that it is turned off.

Is there somewhere else I need to go to to turn it off completely as having to send out invoices as PDF's each time is time consuming and frankly annoying.

Also if anyone can tell me how I can remove the ugly "View Invoice" button it would be appreciated.

    If you use recurring transactions to process the sales, then the online payments needs to be turned off on each saved recurring transaction too.

    Hi Row78​ , do you by any chance post invoices from external systems? These will have the online payments option enabled by default.

    I also would like to know how to turn off the 'View Invoice' button???

    Ohh - that seems a software development error as I really do not want it being sent out on my invoice emails.

    Hopefully they will have option to remove it. I placed a support ticket with it and they closed my ticket without even replying - not even to say it couldn't be turned off.

    I also run Xero on one of our other companies and I am seriously thinking of transferring over at the end of the financial year as MYOB is just not as user friendly and I find placing unwanted options onto users is quite disturbing.

    This is My Experience 

    Turn off online option (MYOB Online) Settings-Sales Setting-payments-untick the online option. Any Invoices you now record will no longer have use online option. (unless a customer invoice had been entered while this option was activated)

    Note:

    Any Invoices that have Entered/recorded prior to turning off the online payments will always use online options 

    Note:

    You have to change Online Payment option on your invoice before you are sending. Once you untick the online option it will save that option to that customer card for all future invoices

    Could someone please help me here.   I have not completed our business verification, however, when I email an invoice to a customer,  the green 'VIEW INVOICE' is attached to the email along with 'VIEW FULL INVOICE DETAILS'... If the customers click on either of these - it takes them to the MYOB Invoice Portal.   I do not want this on my emailed invoices, can you please tell me how to remove this green button and the link to the portal????

    Hi cramptons,

     

    To stop those green buttons and the link to the MYOB Invoice Portal from showing up on your emailed invoices, just make sure the online payments option isn't switched on for the invoice itself. Once that's turned off, the portal links shouldn't appear in the emails anymore.
