Sales Invoice default templates - web vs desktop

Hi

Using AccountRight standard, and I am having an issue with my customised Sales invoice templates because we need to use both Item and Service templates for our business, as our customers can’t be set to both (sale layout must be either Service or Item in card file).

Working around this problem we have been using the webversion’s “new invoice template” (for web only use) which automatically prints the correct item or service template and I can choose this one as the default template for all invoices. Perfect, unless you have other users of MYOB, not wanting to use the web version.

Is there a solution to the desktop version template version problem?

Occasionally our invoices have been sent out using the wrong template ☹. TIA

    We appreciate you reaching out, and it seems that you have challenges because your business needs to use both item and service templates, and this is because of the limitations of the desktop version. We understand how important this is to your business workflow, and we appreciate your understanding in this matter. In the meantime, our option is to use the browser version. This may not be as convenient as having it directly in the desktop version, but please be assured that your input is duly noted, and we'll bring this to the attention of the relevant team. We also encourage you to post in our AccountRight Idea Exchange for this feature to be added in future updates and for our developers to consider. Your feedback is a great help for us to improve and enhance our software to meet our customers’ needs.
