Child Support Payment Category and STP Phase 2

I am trying to set up the STP Phase 2 category for Child Support Payments and add the ATO reporting category (for STP Phase 2) to this deduction but the options don't seem right. Can anyone steer me in the right direction please???

  • Hi LisaD1

Thanks for your post. We're currently working with the ATO on the requirements for STP Phase 2 and will be updating our software accordingly. We will provide detailed help articles and Community Forum posts as we get closer to the Phase 2 start date.

At this stage we haven't been advised of any changes with regards to Child Support being reported through STP so you would continue to use the Phase 1 ato reporting category.

Please let me know if you need further help.

Thanks Tracey. I finally managed to locate the ATO STP Phase 2 Webinar # 4 video yesterday - it wasn't with the previous 3 and while the whole series of webinars was based around Phase 2 integrating with social services, it seems this is one area that, as you said, is optional for reporting in STP.
