Child Support STP Reporting

Hi MYOB Community,

 

Hoping for some guidance please. Services Aust has raised an issue with our STP reporting which has only occured recently.  Our STP reporting appears now to them as ZERO Child Support and we have never had any issue before. Through investigation we have discovered the below on MYOB. Does anyone know:

1) When the below came into effect for Accountright?

2) If this will be recified and if so how soon?

Child support deductions

You can't currently report your child support deductions to the ATO via STP from AccountRight. This means you can assign Not Reportable as the ATO Reporting Category in your child support deduction payroll categories.

    Hi JillL1,

     

    Thanks for checking in. I hear you, logging child support to Services Australia by hand is a lot, and I appreciate the effort you’re putting in. Right now, MYOB still doesn’t support this yet. The good news is we’ve raised an enhancement to add child support in STP Phase 2, it’s on our developers’ roadmap. There’s no ETA just yet, but we’ll share updates as soon as we have them. In the meantime, it’d be amazing if you could post this on our Ideas board and add your vote. Every vote helps us prioritise and brings more visibility to our product team.

    We'll have changed to a better provider by the time MYOB gets around to sorting this.
