Once a payroll transaction has been recorded that particular transaction and values associated with that transaction are locked and you are unable to make changes to that transaction. If you are needing to make a change to that transaction i.e. update a wage value or change the jobs on a transaction you would be looking at deleting and reprocessing that transaction with the corrected values.
In saying that, if you are needing to change the jobs values on a transaction in some situations it may be better suited to record a journal entry to correct the job values. Below is an example of a journal entry to correct an incorrect job being selected on a payroll transaction:
