Employee Card won't open

I have oan employee card file that I am unable to open, with the error message displaying "Something's gone wrong and AccountRight needs to close. We're really sorry. Errors like this are usually one-offs, but if you keep having problems, check for a solution".  Does anybody know how to fix this? I really need to get this fixed and am not sure why this keeps happening. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

    Hi there GlenParkCC,

     

    To edit or add new employee card files linked to payroll, you'll need to upgrade from AccountRight Standard to AccountRight Plus. Once the file has been uploaded online, it will have STP features. This upgrade will allow you to make the changes to your employee card files. Check this link for more information.

      Thanks for your response.

       

      However, I have tried accessing the file using the online version but it won't open on there either. I don't want to make a new file as I need the history of the employee. I note in a related post that a script was used to fix the problem.

        Hi GlenParkCC,

        Yes, you are correct. We do have an online script that we can arrange to fix this issue. To do this, you can contact our support team. The best ways to contact them are through live chat (via our virtual assistant MOCA) or by raising a support ticket through myaccount.myob.com.
