Existing Employee change of Super fund

Hi,

 

To update the new super fund Information for an existing employee can I use the employee self-onboarding program?  Will this update the form that he previously submitted and also update his Super information or do I need to enter it manually?

    Hi jenni

     

    Thank you for the post. To update the new super fund information for an existing employee, go to the "Card File" menu and select "Cards List". Locate and open the employee's card whose super fund details you need to update and enter it manually.

      Hi Sai,

       

      Thanks for that.  How do I update and file the new Super information in MYOB so I have a record?  Entering manually means it will continue to show his original on-boarding information.

    I wondered if I could open his card and send a "request employee details" check instead (bottom right of the card in the Profile tab).

      Hi jenni,

       

      Thank you for your reply. You can certainly proceed as planned, but please be aware that there are instances where it appears that the employee has self-enrolled. In such cases, the information might not save correctly and could disappear from the form. Therefore, it is important to ensure that the form is thoroughly filled out to avoid any issues.

    Hi,

     

    For anyone interested...

    After going through the process of sending a "request employee details" from the employee card, all super details were updated and synced.  I needed to accept the changes then it all happened automatically.  The superannuation form was updated to the new one as well, so my records are up to date with no need to save another file somewhere else.  So much easier than relying on manual entry.
