Fulltime to casual

Hi there

A long term fulltime employee retired at the end of last year and was paid out all entitlements.

ATO was notified and termination date entered into his card.

He is back doing a bit of casual work every now and then.

Do I need to create a new employee card for him as a casual employee?

OR delete termination date, use the same card then "undo termination" to ATO in STP reporting?

Thank you kindly.

    Hi CollTspt,

You can bring back a former employee by using their existing record. You just need to remove the Termination date from their record, update their payroll details, and notify the ATO through STP by undoing the termination date. For more info on reinstating employee, check out this link.

    Cheers,

    Princess
