MYOB Crashing when attempting to open employee card

Thanks for your post. Scripts can indeed only be ran on online files. This error is caused by duplicate values in the database. If your file is local, you can run the hotfix tool on your computer:

AccountRight 2020.2 and later

To use the hotfix tool

1. Extract the two files in the zipped folder through right clicking on the zip file and choose Extract all
2. Right click AccountRight_Hotfix.exe and choose Run as Administrator
3. Click Browse
4. Locate the company file and click ok
5. Click that you have a backup of this file
6. Click Apply
7. Once the hotfix has applied click Finish

If your are using the Silent Installer: you will need to install Microsoft SQL Server Compact in order to run the hotfix tool. If SQL server is not installed on the computer, then you will receive an Unhandled exception error when running the hotfix tool:
