AR2024 won't import any payroll transactions, so it would need to be imported as a General Journal either after each pay or each month etc.
FYI look into STP Creator - this was designed specifically for MYOB offline files (including AR2024), currently used by many offline AR2024 users. It is a standalone program that extracts the payroll data from your offline AR2024 file and sends directly to the ATO, allowing you to review before it sends. If you make a mistake in payroll, you can also edit and delete the payroll transaction, something you cannot do if using MYOB's STP Reporting.

The whole idea to bring inhouse is to decrease the work involved. Processing payroll in MYOB and using STP Creator (ATO reporting) wont result in any savings.

The above is basically what we do now as we use an outside payroll provider.
