Onboarding

We had 4 new employees start this week, and AGAIN the PDF hasn’t attached for one of them.

 

Also, the ‘Income Type’ and ‘Country of Origin’ is still not prefilling on all completed onboarding.

 

I can’t understand why this keeps happening, extremely frustrating our end as we have a high turnover of staff.

 

Where is MYOB tech staff at with resolving this issue that has been going on since January? I have rung multiple times (each time almost 2 hours at a time), to be given the same response each time. We had none of these ongoing problems last year. It only started happening when we had an update at the start of this year.

 

Unacceptable – You might have to consider reducing the subscription costs if the product is substandard – your thoughts on this please?

    Hi Sue77,

     

    You’ve pointed out a few practical hurdles, particularly with staff spread across different locations and not always being on site, which does add a few extra layers to managing things day to day. With that in mind, there isn’t a confirmed update or release date yet for a fix to the onboarding PDF. I’ve added your account to the list of affected users so you’ll be automatically notified as soon as a proper resolution is available, no need to keep checking in. In the meantime, the most reliable option is still the Employee employment details report, as it brings together personal, tax, super and bank details in one place and avoids the need to juggle multiple screenshots.

    Hi Doreen,

     

    Thank you for your reply. However, as mentioned in my phone discussions, the work around is inconvenient. I have received their onboarding completion emails, however if I screen shot the different relevant pages (personal details, super, tax info & bank info - information they would have on hand) I still need them to confirm that is the information they submitted is correct.  We are a large nursery with staff in different areas (km's away) and some not on site, so it's NOT easy for them to come see me to sign off the information.  And also most of our employees are on working holiday visa's so communication is an issue (they would have trouble understanding if I tried to explain over an email why our accounting system was incompetent and  'glitching'!).

     

    Where is MYOB at with resolving the issue rather than offering a work around for the 3rd month now?

    Are we able to get a discount on our subscription?

    Hi Sue77,

     

    You’ve been through a lot with onboarding this year, and it’s completely understandable that you’re feeling frustrated. For the employee whose PDF hasn’t attached, please ask them to send you either their onboarding completion email or a few clear screenshots of the form they submitted. You can then use that information to open their employee card and manually enter or correct any fields that didn’t flow through properly.
