Payroll Admin

Hi

 

My client is the admin user of their MYOB file, but they are unable to submit the payroll reports to the ATO or lodge STP.

They received error messages stating they are not authorised. Please see attached.

We were able to do so as their agent, but the client would like to be able to submit the reports themselves now. 

Can we please get some assistance?

    Hi anonymous10,

     

    I can see why this would be confusing, especially when your client is already the admin user but still can't lodge their STP reports. What's happening here is that, even as an admin, they still need to be added as a declarer of Single Touch Payroll, If they're not set up as a declarer, it will show the "not authorised" message when they try to submit or lodge STP. Once they're added as a declarer, they should be all set to lodge their payroll reports themselves.
