Payroll entitlements adjustments

Hi,

I have an employee who left with the company.

and then restart work again with the company, I had done the termination before and undo the termination, for the STP report had error report.

I think undoing the termination had bring back the Annual leave and Personal leave 

Could you please help and advise how to adjust this back to normal.

Entitlement is showing as:

Annual Leave accrual:

 Balance: 29.80 

 Carry over: -21.463

Year to date: 20.288

Total : 28.305

I would like to change this to Total Annual leave balance : 20.28

Could you please help how to adjust this?

Personal Leave accrual :

Balance : 15.190

carry over: -11.831

year to date: 10.145

Total : 13.504

I would like to change this to Total Personal leave accrual : 10.16

Please advise as soon as possible, as I have to process the pay today.

    Hi Fran_29

     

    I can see that you're having some issues with leave balances after reinstating a terminated employee. To adjust the annual and personal leave accruals, you'll need to manually change the hours under balance adjustment on the employee's card file. You may get the difference between the current total and the desired total amount, then deduct the difference from the hours on the balance adjustment to match the desired total amount. 

     

    Annual Leave Accrual Sample Computation below:

    Current Total Amount: 28.305

    Desired Amount: 20.28

    (current total) 28.305 less (desired total) 20.28 = 8.025

    (Balance Adjustment) 29.8 less 8.025 = 21.775

    The total hours on the balance adjustment should be 21.775.

     

    Similarly, for the personal leave, adjust the balance to get the total accrual to 10.16. Please remember to double-check these changes to ensure they're accurate. Feel free to post again if you have any other queries.

      I have managed to adjust the balance manually as you have advised. Thanks again

      You have saved the day for me!

      I did call the Myob support, spoke to someone in the Phillipines and did sent a copy for data file repaired as she mentioned. I will email her back to advise that there is no need now.
