STP EOFY GROSS YTD ZERO persistant error message to save/discard changes

I am trying to do EOFY on STP phase 2.    Firstly, all the gross ytd figures show zero, but the verification report shows the correct total.  Both the activity and register reports also agree.  Having read similar posts from people last year, I have tried to finalise regardless of the zero balances but persistently get a pop-up window that there are changes which have to be saved or discarded.   I haven't made any unsaved changes that I know of so select to 'discard', but still cannot finalise as the window keeps popping up and not letting me finish.

There seems to be either a glitch in the program, or it is being very pedantic about something hidden.

Any solutions?
