STP reporting with myob ID not working

I have been asked to link my myob ID which i did. Now when i go to process payroll it comes up with message  declaration not authorised , i have to setup STP reporting , however we already have STP reporting with existing company. I don't want to create another one.

Can  I  continue using existing company user for payrolls and not sign in with my ID

secondly how do I amend My login ID . i am happy to use as existing company user logins

    Hi Sharma18,

Thanks for explaining this. I understand you want to keep using your existing STP setup and not create another one. You can continue using the existing company file and STP setup. However, each person who processes payroll and submits the STP declaration needs to sign in with their own MYOB login. Shared company logins can’t be used for the STP declaration. An administrator or existing STP declarer can add you as an STP declarer. This won’t create another STP registration or remove the current declarer:

    • Make sure your user is listed in the company file with access to Payroll, pay runs and the Payroll Reporting Centre.
    • Sign in to the company file using your own MYOB login.
    • Go to Payroll > Single Touch Payroll reporting and select Get started if prompted.
    • Choose Someone from the business and complete the prompts.

As the business is already using STP, you normally won’t need to notify the ATO again. The existing STP setup will remain in place. You can find the steps here: Add a declarer for Single Touch Payroll reporting

    Regards,

    Sai
