SUPER PAYMENT - AUTHORISATION CODE

I used pay super through MYOB for the first time. The authorisation code is being sent by sms to my mobile phone number which is not convenient. I want the authorisation code sent to our email address instead but can't find how I disable the sms option.

Any help is appreciated.

    Hi UEA,

Great question, and nice work getting your first Pay Super run underway in MYOB.

You’re absolutely right that getting an SMS every time can be inconvenient, especially if you’re not always near your phone. At the moment, Pay Super authorisation codes are designed to go via SMS for security reasons, which is why you’re not seeing an option to switch them to email.

    Regards,
    Earl

Why aren’t we given the option to use email for two-factor authentication?
Right now, we’re forced into the 2FA setup process but only provided with a single authentication method. That completely defeats the purpose of having “options” in the first place.
This feels unnecessarily restrictive and inconvenient. Not everyone can or wants to use the required method, and there doesn’t seem to be any flexibility.
Very disappointing experience from MYOB again.
