Terminated employee in FY2023 showed up on STP Finalisation FY2024
Hi,
We terminated an employee in April 2023, but his name showed up on the EOFY Finalisation FY2023/2024. I have checked; no payments were made to the employee during the year.
Can someone please advise how to rectify the issue?

Thank you for the post. To address the issue you're experiencing, please follow these steps:
- Check if the employee appears in the Payroll Activity and Register reports.
- If the employee does not appear, please remove the termination date temporarily.
- Process a $0 pay for the employee. This will zero out the Year-to-Date (YTD) amounts for the employee.
- After processing the $0 pay, finalize the employee.
- Once finalized, re-enter the termination date.
