Looks like the error message "Opening balances from a previous financial year may not be changed for P&L categories" might be popping up because the opening balance date is set incorrectly. Could you double-check the month and year listed under the Opening balance date? If the date is later than the one you're trying to enter, that’s probably what's causing the hiccup.
