Bank Recons

Why has the system randomly duplicated bank entries dated back to March 2024? 

I can see that they are system generated because I don't use cheque numbers and my entries have attachments.

These entries have cheque numbers and no attachments.

    Hi, 

    ​Unfortunately, the recon didn't work.

    I have been speaking to a MYOB support person, and they identified the issue as a system-generated duplicate on the Journal Security Audit.

    Although the consultant escalated the case and scheduled a callback for 12:00 PM yesterday, I was disappointed that the call never took place. I’m looking for a status update on the fix asap so I can reconcile.

    Hi ilana

     

    Those transactions do sound like they’ve been system-generated. I’d start by doing a future-dated reconciliation and see if that clears things up on the Reconcile Accounts screen. If it doesn’t, you can run the Journal Security Audit report to confirm whether they were created by the system.

     

    I’ve also had a look, and there aren’t any current known issues that match what you’ve described. If those steps don’t sort it, the best bet is to get in touch with our support team. You can lodge a ticket via My Account or jump onto MOCA(our virtual assistant) to get through to live chat.
