How to send EOFY MYOB info to my accountant

I am currently using MYOB AccountRight Plus AU 2026.5.0, Build 2026.5.1.23. (online)
In the past I have been able to create a backup of the company file, which I saved to my local PC as a zip file and sent this to my accountant at end of financial year.
This year, I created a backup which did not give me the option to save to a local disk.
When I choose the 'restore' option, I am able to see the latest backup, but I am unable to get a copy of it.
How can I send a copy of my company file to my accountant?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your question, and my apologies for the late response. I can see why that’d be confusing.
Because your company file is already online and you’re using AccountRight 2026.5, the backup won’t download as a normal file to your computer anymore. In this version, online backups are stored in the MYOB cloud and can be accessed from within AccountRight when needed. If your accountant just needs to work on the file, the easiest option is usually to give them access to the online file rather than sending a backup copy. Online files are designed to make it easier to securely share access with your accountant and collaborate in real time.
If you need to view or restore one of your backups, you can do that in AccountRight by going to File and choosing Restore Online Backup or Restore from Online Backups. That will show the available backups by date and time.
