Creating a new Sales Invoice

Hi, I'm trying to create a new sales invoice which has an extra column in the data area with the total calculating using three columns not two - is this possible?

For example I need a Msquared by quantity by cost can I do this??

    Hi swatts11

I wasn’t totally sure what you were after, but if you want to tweak the look of your invoice, you can absolutely do that. Simply head to Setup, then Customise Forms, choose the invoice you want to update, and click Customise.

Once you're in, you can adjust the layout as much as you like. To add another column, just right-click on the table, pick Show/Hide Columns, and choose the ones you want to appear on your invoice. You can check this article: Customising Invoices, if you need a more details guide on the process.

Hi swatts11 , Invoices in the MOB Business range of programs cannot be customised with separate line fields like that (M2 x Qty x Unit Cost = Line total).

I seem to have got two different responses which is not helpful.  I'm assuming that what I need can't be done as I haven't been able to do it myself, but are you able to import an invoice say from excel which is set up how you need it??

    Hi swatts11,

Great question! You cannot directly import an invoice from Excel into MYOB AccountRight in the exact format you have set up in Excel. Instead, AccountRight uses its own invoice template and format. You can also visit this help pages for more information:  Customising invoices / Personalising forms
