Currently there is no way to clear out super payments from Pay Super that have been made through SGC statements (ATO). It's my understanding that this can be done in Account Right, but not Business Pro. Can you look into this please.
Clear out super payments

I agree, it would make sense to have it available in Business Pro as well.

I would love to see this feature in Business Pro - sooner rather than later

Hi all,
I am new to the Pay Superannuation feature and getting ready for it. I have the same problem, as our super was paid externally, so all the transactions are in the Pay Superannuation page.
lisadgs - if I go ahead with your method, would the payments then be sitting in the Manage Payments page, awaiting to be authorised? And if so, will I be able to just delete them/reject them?
Thanks

Any update on this one MYOB? With Paycycle super starting very soon I'd imagine this should be a priority!

1 Year later and still no update on this feature, which seems like a bare minimum feature when introducing a new way to pay super, after people have been using a different way for years.

This needs to be a Priority for MYOB to fix, concern that super amounts that have already been paid through other clearing houses will be picked up and paid again

Thank you so much, I am still doing it FY by FY but it seems to be working well, super liability account heading towards zero. Doesn't look like I need the reverse entry. I appreciate your help & prompt response, you are very kind to help me, enjoy your weekend.

Hi TheRousk I think steps up to 7 still apply, but instead of choosing cash drawer/suspense account, you would use bank. I still think you need to do the journal entry as per step 8, but again yours would be to bank.
BUT I would check between steps 7 and 8 by running a General Ledger [Summary] or viewing your accounts list, that the Superannuation Liability account is now back to zero (or whatever amount it "should" be - i.e. amounts currently payable for Super).
I am just struggling to confidently say you will/will not need to do the reversing entry. But as you said, if your bank account is not used/reconciled in MYOB, then you can use this account as you please.
Let me know if you have success?

Hi Lisa, Thank you for this explanation. We only use MYOB to prepare pay runs & submit to ATO then we pay outside of the system, our bank accounts are not linked to MYOB so the bank account has never been reconciled. (We use a different system for our accounting). I would like to bring our Super liability account to $0.00 as of 01/04 so I can start to use MYOB to pay Super. Can I just Pay Liabilities as you describe above but just use the bank account and then I don't need to do the reverse journal? Thanks in advance.

Can MYOB look to prioritizing this option as a necessary function, not just waiting until it has enough votes? Unfortunately, not all clients process and pay their super correctly, or have used the SBSCH and not marked payments as "paid" correctly in their MYOB files, which results in needing to lodge SGC super to the ATO. There is currently no way to fix this in MYOB
