Issue with Letter templates

Hi I wonder if anyone can help. One of our users is having an issue with generating Letters / templates through Microsoft Word.

 

Process >>

Select a Card File (client) > select Letter (create a personalised letter using Microsoft Word) > select relevant letter from the list and the below error message appears.

 

"This feature requires Microsoft Word. A compatible version was not found on this computer"

 

We are running Microsoft Word 365 on all computers - only 1 computer / user is having this issue.

This issue seemed to come about following a MYOB update.

    Hi DebAC 

     

    I'd suggest checking if the Microsoft Office installed on that user computer is 32-bit or 64-bit, AccountRight only works with the 32-bit version of Office. 

     

    Please feel free to let us know how you go.

      Hi Clover thankyou for your responce. All pc's are running 64-bit version of Office. 2 out of the 3 PCs are working fine with pulling template Word letters through MYOB but 1 is not.

       

      Any other suggestions are welcomed.

        Hi DebAC 

         

        Thank you for the update. According to the AccountRight's system requirements, only 32-bit version of Office is compatible so please uninstall the 64-bit version and install 32-bit version Office instead.
