change payroll dates

I was wondering if I could help me. I am using MYOB Accountright.
I processed payroll yesterday and was informed today that I have entered the incorrect "end period date".
ATO has accepted it already. Would I have to do a reverse transaction in order to change the "end period date"?
This is new to me, after reversing the transaction, do I start the payrun from start again, but using yesterday pay date? Is there anything else I would need to do?
I need to sort this out quickly as I have a employee that needs their updated payslip for this week.

Does this end date affect all employees?

Hope you don't have a huge payroll

If it affects all employees delete the payrun and reprocess and submit to ATO as amendment.

Check that YTD figures haven't changed.

My understanding with STP is that the YTD figures are what they are interested in so don't sweat the ATO side of things too much - the next payroll reporting will override this one anyway.

Do you pay on a regular basis? if it is weekly or fortnightly you can set that up and the dates will be automatically set and errors won't be made

    Hope this is useful
