Templates: Include option to review on social media

I would like to see an area on the invoice that attracts the customers attention into making a comment or review on associated social media outlets.

  • When we send an invocie to a customer, allow a link to provide a simple rating of the service we provided them. 

     

    We can then use this metric on our own website to validate good service.

     

    Example:

    Thank you for choosing the services of XXXXX. Please rate your over all experience out of 5:

     

    5=Excellent

    4=Good

    3=Average

    2=Needs Improvement

    1= Terrible

      Thanks for the suggestion!

       

      Just a quick thought - have you considered creating a customer satisfaction survey* and then including a link to this in the e-mails you send out to your clients? MYOB Essentials does allow you to customise the e-mails you send to do this. Open your MYOB Essentials file > click on your business name on the upper righthand corner > Invoice and quote settings > Default email text > click on the dropdown option next to Default Invoice Email > include the link in the Message field > Save. This would then automatically include a link to this survey in every invoice you send out from here onwards.

       

      *There are many websites that offer the ability to create surveys for free (e.g. www.surveymonkey.com)

      It would be great customer service if MYOB Pty Ltd could respond to every single query due to MYOB software issues, within an hour, two at the most. Just  a communication listing any actions from MYOB's end would be professional and ethical e.g here's a solution/we're working on it/it will be solved in the next 24 hours etc.  It's not good enough to expect the MYOB community 'out there' provide 'free' ideas solutions when the software should have been thoroughly tested prior to updates going out.  I get the feeling that MYOB is looking for a wide, 'free' trial in the real world first before any bugs are corrected.  Legally how does this impinge on either party in relation to loss of business and cash flow?  Where are the phone contact details for a person to person communication?

      This particular idea is around adding the ability to add customer feedback into the MYOB Essentials program. With that being said I have responded to your post on Invoice not being emailed
