How to change the MYOB Essential Dashboard and General layout back to the old version, the new layout version is terrible, hard to navigate, everything is in different places. why do IT nerds change something that did not need changing!!!

I see you have some thoughts about the new MYOB Business layout. Unfortunately, there's no way to revert to the old layout. I think the new layout takes some time to get used to, but it does have its advantages.
If you have suggestions on how we can improve the layout, I suggest posting them on the Ideas Exchange board for future updates.

Firstly my BAS does not link to ATO, secondly no one asked me about changing it... its taken me twice as long to do my tax than previously

I totally get that changes can be challenging, especially when you're used to a certain way of doing things. But trust me, these changes were made with the best intentions—to make your experience with our software even better. We did our best to let everyone know about these changes before they happened. It might take a little time to get used to the new layout and language, but the core functions of MYOB Business are still the same. It's just the look and feel that's had a bit of a makeover.
