Can we invite new user by signing a from rather than administrator action in MYOB

We would like to invite a new user in MYOB but the process seems a little bit hard for the staff who has administator access. It will be easier if she can sign a form or written permission and request MYOB service team to invite a new user with some accesses.

Please advise if there is any form we can fill for our current situation, or the administrator have to action it in MYOB.

  • Hi Skye0418

Thanks for your post and welcome here to the Community Forum. Thank you for flagging your inquiry with us. We are sorry to hear that you are having challenges inviting a user to your MYOB account and we appreciate your patience on this matter.

Regarding your concern, we do not have a form that you can fill out to invite a new user to the company file. If your file is online, you may invite a new user by opening the company file >> Go to Setup menu >> choose User Access and the User Access window will appear >> Click New User. Select the option "This user will sign on with a my.MYOB account". This option allows the new user to open the file by just entering their MYOB account details (email address and password). They will not need to enter the User ID or company file password to open the file.

More information and instructions about this will be found in our Help Article: Invite a user to an online file. If your company file is offline, please check this Help Article: Add a user to an offline file
