Company File not linking when setting up new employee
HI Forum,
I'm having lots of difficulty with setting up a new hire with Company file access online. I've created a user in MYOB and invited them to sign on via my.MYOB. This all goes to plan so far and they receive the invitation link. Upon accepting the link it asks them to sign in with the associated username and password. An option to create a new password is not provided. I have tried multiple variations for this process, but ultimately I end up having to click on 'forgot my password' to create a new password.
I get a verification page indicating that all I need to do now is download MYOB and sign in, however, when I sign in under the username it says there is no linked company file available. Upon checking back with the 'Manage Online Access' page through the admin my.MYOB, I find out that the email is now showing as inactive with 'Access Removed'.
I now have 5 iterations of this email listed as 'Access Removed' and I still can't give my employee access to the company file.
What am I doing wrong??
