No user accesss option

Hi,

I'm an administrator on our MYOB account and need to set up a new staff member to access our MYOB Accountright file. There are no othe Admins.

The option to select User Access under Set up which I have used many times before is not there?

Help!

    Hi Earl_HD Doreen_P ,

I have logged out and back in.  Still no User Access option, I have tried MOCA which was useless.

    Regards,

    Karen

    Hi Karen10,

You would need to log on as an administrator to have access to the User Access button under set-up. Or, failing the above, you could log into my.MYOB and look under Manage Users. If you don't have manage users under my.MYOB, the client may have changed your user access role, and that would be why you don't have the User Acess button.

    Hi Shella_A ,

I have administrator access, always have. When I log into my.MYOB I am listed as an Administrator.  There is no client, no one else has access to change my role and the only other administrator listed hasn't worked for the company for nearly 5 years.  Please see screenshots attached.  I need assistance to sort this as soon as possible.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Karen10,

I was able to run a fix on your company file to correct the situation. Since you are logging in as an administrator, kindly log out and then log back in using the Administrator User ID with no password and you should be able to log in and access the User Access menu.

    Hi Doreen_P

Thanks for coming back to me.  How do I log in with the Administrator user ID, do you mean my usual ID, as I am an Administrator?  As to log in to MYOB I have to enter an email? I logged out and logged back in with my ID but the User Access option is still not there.

I tried clearing the Accountright Cache and signing back in, just with "Administrator" but a full email is required?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Karen10,

Thanks for your detailed response. After reviewing your account, we couldn't identify any issues causing the User Access not to appear. I've made some backend changes that should help us resolve this issue.

If you're still experiencing this problem, consider trying our virtual assistant, MOCA. It's designed to delve deeper into issues like this. You can engage with MOCA through myob.com/support for any queries or assistance you might need. If MOCA isn't able to provide the help you need, our live chat team is available to step in and escalate the matter from where MOCA left off.

Feel free to post again, we're happy to help!

    Hi Karen10,

I tried running the fix again. Please try logging in again and let me know how it goes. If it is still the same, kindly confirm the last four digits of your serial number. Also, have the other administrator of the file to check  your user ID under 'User Access' window.

I'm looking forward to your response.

    Best regards,

    Doreen

    Hi Doreen_P

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately still no User Acess option under Set Up.  The other administrator has left the company many years ago but was set as the Owner and hasn't been able to be removed.  The last 4 digits of the company file are 7089.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Karen10,

Thanks for providing the last four digits of your serial number. I have tried running the fix again. You can also try uninstalling and then reinstalling the AccountRight to start fresh. If this still doesn't work, I would highly recommend to submit a support request through My Account. Lastly, you can use our virtual assistant MOCA through myob.com/support. You can escalate the conversation for you to be transferred to our Live Chat.

Feel free to post again if you encounter issues in the future.

    Best regards,

    Doreen
