No STP Report

Hi, I only have 1 employee but have no STP report showing for the financial year.  I have all the pay runs showing in their employee file and have confirmed single touch payroll with the ATO but wanted to print off a summary for the employee as well as make sure it's already been sent to the ato.

    As the employee card displays all the payroll information, I suggest performing an" update event" as described below. To ensure the information has been sent, you can check the payroll reporting center under the finalization tab to view the year-to-date information.

     

    An update event is where you send your employees' latest year to date payroll totals to the ATO. This ensures your payroll totals in MYOB sync with the figures held by the ATO.

    If you're reporting via STP Phase 2, you can send an update event from the STP reporting centre. Otherwise you'll need to record a zero dollar ($0) pay for each employee whose year to data payroll totals you want to send to the ATO.

     

    Update event

    1. From the Payroll menu, choose Single Touch Payroll reporting.
    2. Click the STP reports tab.
    3. Choose the applicable Payroll year.
    4. Click Send update event.
    5. When prompted, enter your details and click Send
    6. An update event will be listed with your other submissions on the STP reports tab, but with zero (0.00) amounts.
