Incorrectly entered purchase for inventory now impacting inventory values

Question

I entered a purchase (should use order instead of purchase) too early by mistate, as it affected my inventory, so I changed the quantity to 0, thought it will give me the current correct inventory before Goods be delivered in stock. However, the inventory still show up, so I deleted the purchase entry. I thought it will delete the inventory accordingly as well, but its weird that the inventory is unchanged
Delete a purchase does not affect inventory?? How to reverse inventroy then?

Sorry to see that no one has offered assistance with your query. The inventory can be affected in multiple ways other than purchases. For example, if you create a sale or do an inventory adjustment.
&nbsp;
If you go to; Inventory &gt; Item Register &gt; Filter by that Item &gt; you will see any transactions that will be affected the item.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
At this stage, you can either delete the incorrect transaction or do an&nbsp;Inventory Adjustment.&nbsp;
