Duplicate Invoice Numbers and the 0000 have disappeared!

Question

Hello,&nbsp;Up until Friday, invoices in my system started with 0000 and were going up consecutivley. for example 00002120, 00002121 etc, which was fine.&nbsp;All of a sudden, the 0000 has dropped to 2122, 2123 and so on. The invoices have also jumped back and the last few have duplicted (less the 0000 at the start), so now it looks like:&nbsp;0000212000002021212021212122&nbsp;Does anyone know why this has occurred and how i can change it back? I have selected under preferences to be wanred if there is a suplciate invoice number, I'm guessing MYOB thinks 00002120 and 2120 are different invoice numbers? Shoudl I just keep going with the new look invoice numbers?&nbsp;Happy to answer any questions.

Hi&nbsp;I suggest that you manually add the 0000 back into the next invoice you create and then the next invoice will retain that format&nbsp;You could manually change the two invoices to be sequential and reissue&nbsp; them to your customer to keep things in line&nbsp;An yes they are seen as differnt numbers by myob&nbsp;Hope that helps&nbsp;Lisa&nbsp;Hope that helps

Hionce you have inserted the zeros myob will &nbsp;remember and you won't need to do againLisa
