Emailed Sales Invoices

Before the online payment verification process, I used to be able to email sales invoices to my customers so that they could print it off.  Now with the secure payment option, there seems to be no attachment for my customers to print anymore, and they are only offered to pay securely the invoice with no option to view the invoice and download it for printing.  Can anyone explain how my customers can download/print their invoices without having to be sent to the secure payment option.  The invoice that's embedded in the email body is not in a suitable format for printing.

we have not upgraded to the secure Invoicing, but I was able to print & download Invoices yesterday but today I have gone to print an invoice and save it to file to email it, but MYOB is telling me I don't have permission to access the page and to contact my administrator.

    Hi topnorth,

You can use Microsoft Outlook to send invoice emails as PDF attachments. If you prefer to keep your AccountRight settings, you can also download the invoice by "downloading the sale" and then email it manually. You can read more about that from this link

    Hope this helps.

    Hi FionaS23,

If sending invoices via email or SMS isn't quite hitting the mark for you, it's probably due to secure invoicing features. However, if you're just downloading and manually emailing them, you shouldn't be having any issues. That error message you've got could be related to roles and permissions, and your admin should be able to sort that out. Also, don't forget to clear your AccountRight cache before you double-check your permissions to access invoices. If you're still stuck, you can always hop on live chat with our virtual assistant MOCA or create a support ticket through MyAccount.

    Cheers,

    Princess

    Hi Princess,

I have full access, but I think it is because of the secure invoicing. I am able to go through the desktop and print & save it as a PDF. That is the only way I am able to do it now. I am unable to print or download from the browser version of MYOB. Very annoying that MYOB are now forcing us to use this secure invoicing.

    Hi FionaS23,

Thanks for the added info. Since the error message indicates that the issue is related to user access instead of secure invoicing, it's best to go through the virtual assistant MOCA or go with the support ticket route in MyAccount to resolve it.

I have just spoken to someone in the account right team & they have informed me that Yes, upgrading to secure invoicing is necessary to regain the ability to print and download invoices in AccountRight. nothing to do with user access

    Hey FionaS23

You'll still be able to print and download invoices in MYOB AccountRight. The ability to Print/PDF invoices at the moment has been impacted, the team is currently working to fix this. I've responded to your comment over on this post as well and will continue to post updates over there.
