    Hi bentruong

Thank you for your post, and welcome to the Community forum. Hope you find it plenty of useful information.

Kindly accept my sincere apologies for the delay in my response. If you were to open the browser version of AccountRight and open your supplier card, can you see any other fields that may have an email entered incorrectly or in an irrelevant field? There are 3 fields where an email can be entered on the browser version (compared to the desktop version), so I would suggest checking that and try to reenter the email if you haven't already.

If you're still experiencing this, can you please attach the diagnostic log of the AccountRight file after this message has appeared so I can investigate.

    Kind regards,

    Shella

  • I am still getting an error "test is required to be in uppercase". This error comes up both when email is in upper and lowercase.

It also makes no sense as the email that was already there that i am replacing was in lowercase.

    Example of email updated.

  • Hi, We have tried on other computers with the same error occuring.

I've also tried to delete the cache by following these instructions. However the same error message is still popping up when trying to update the email.

    1. Open your Start Menu.
    2. Start typing: %localappdata%
    3. Open the %localappdata% folder when displayed:
    4. Open the MYOB Folder.
    5. Open the AccountRight Folder.
    6. Open the Version folder (E.g: 2019.2)
Note: AccountRight 2021.1 or later versions will show as Current.
    7. Open the Cache folder.
    8. Delete all files in this folder.

    Hi bentruong

    Thanks for the response.

We appreciate your patience with this and thank you for following the steps provided above. To make sure this is not happening to other supplier cards you have, I would recommend a few general troubleshooting steps:

    1. Double-check the email address you're entering for any possible errors or unusual characters.
    2. Try to update other fields in the supplier card to see if the error persists. This can help determine if the issue is specific to the email field.
    3. If possible, try to update the email address for a different supplier card to see if the issue is specific to one supplier card.

Do let me know if this is giving you the same issue for all.

    Kind regards,

    Shella
