Running a Receivables with Tax report - timeout error message

Hi,

 

When trying to run a Sales Receivables report - Receivables with Tax and Purchases - Payables with Tax, we are receiving the error, "An Application operation has timed out. Would you like to retry the operation?"

 

Is this a known issue or is there a workaround, please?  I can see this is a common error message but for all sorts of issues.

    If the file that you are having this error with is an online file, I can suggest taking a backup of the file and restoring the file locally to the computer, this can resolve the issue if there are server load issues. 

    If the file is already local, I can suggest this helpful post on extending the timeout extender, which will give it more time before the error appears.
