Entitlements
Hi Everyone,
Does the start of each payroll year begin with a clean slate in entitlements ?
So if I populate the carry over field with the correct balance then that is the amount of leave that the employee will start the year with ?
Year-To-Date and Total balances from the previous payroll year will have no bearing on the new Payroll Year ?

If within your entitlement payroll category, you have ticked the box for 'Carry Remaining Entitlement Over to the next year' as seen on the image below, the year end accrued balances for that entitlements for the current payroll year will be moved to the 'Carry Over' balance of the same entitlement for the next year once you have roll over the payroll year.
The Year to date balance will reset back to 0, but the carry over field will reflect the collective accrued balance of that entitlement from previous years.
