Hi, I know there are lots of posts about this but I still can't find the answer! We had one employee receive an ETP taxable component and ETP withholding tax. Both of these are showing on the payslip but not on the verification report. The employee was paid hourly, the pay item was set to salary. It appears to be set up correctly (was set up prior to me processing payroll & I did not process the ETP). Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for your post. Usually this happens when customers have declared employees that have been terminated and processed an ETP over the last financial year, while in STP 1 with a STP 2 ATO reporting category not assigned, and later transitioned to STP 2. You may check out this post for the workaround that has been done.

Thanks for updating the post Jem. Reading through the comments there are concerns that reversing the ETP caused more problems and didn't solve the issue. I took over processing payroll from April this year - previously it was processed by an external company. How do I know if the error is caused by changing from STP 1 to 2 and not having a reporting category assigned? I have already had one issue fixed by MYOB due to an error caused when our file was migrated in May - could this be also a migration error?
I called MYOB help desk and they got me to reverse the payment with the ETP and redo. I have reluctantly done this, sent an update event and ETP is still not showing. The event was accepted by the ATP at around 10.20am to day its been 40 minutes since. The person I spoke to said it could take 35 minutes from being accepted by ATO to reports being updated - is this correct?
