Flare Benefits

How do I stop offering Flare Benefits to new employees?

    There is no feature to disable Flare Benefits for new employees. I encourage you to take a moment to post this suggestion on the AccountRight Ideas Exchange board for consideration. This way, our product team can review and potentially implement it in future updates.

    Hi, I posted 2 years ago about how to stop offering Flare benefits and I just realised that my question is marked as solved. This is odd as it isn't solved. I have also tried to register the suggestion to the link above to the AccountRight Ideas Exchange board for consideration but couldn't find where to lodge it on the site. Basically, I don't think anything has been done and I still want to stop offering Flare benefits. Please lodge this issue for me (and others).

    Hi canguix,

     

    Totally hear your concern. There’s no option in MYOB to switch Flare off. This has been raised with our developers, and we've added your account to the list of users keen to turn off Flare benefits for employees. While there's no set timeframe yet, rest assured you'll receive an email update from us when there's any news or progress on this. You can also flick a vote with this feature posted on our ideas board.

    You can jump straight to this Ideas Board post about opting out of Flare on onboarding. That’s the best spot to add your vote or feedback if that’s the change you’d like to see.

    Why is this taking so long as it was raised over a year ago?  I would have thought it would be a pretty straightforward thing for the IT guys. Is it because Flare is paying MYOB to keep it there?
