invalid address for employee

I do payroll in STP2. A new employee started about 6 weeks ago.

Every time I submit payroll, since this new employee started, I get an error message saying the employee's home address is invalid. The employee has confirmed the home address. The various search engines I have used also confirm that the address exists.

Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

    Thanks for your post.

     

    Since you already tried different search engines to see if the address exists but still the same error. To correct the situation, kindly delete the address entered then manually type it in. Please let me know how it goes.

      I have have manually entered the address several times and it has made no difference. I keep getting the same invalid address error. Do I need to contact ATO for assistance with this error message?

        Hi EllenR 

         

        Perhaps post a screenshot of the error message. Is it a MYOB message or an ATO message?

         

        Neither MYOB nor the ATO check for a 'valid address' - the ATO only checks that the address fields contain valid values.

      Doreen,

      I did as you suggested. It did not work.

      Another person also suggested doing it in all 5 address fields.

      This did not work.

      I am still getting the same error.

      Any other ideas?

        • Serial number
        • Name of primary contact and email address
        • Business name
        • Screenshot of where you are trying to edit the address of the employee
