Part time to Casual

Hello,

We had a staff member move from part time to casual. Their annual leave entitlements were paid out, their entitlements are no longer accruing, however their personal leave entitlement from their part time employment is still showing in the entitlement balances.

Should this be removed somehow? It's roughly 50hrs worth

Also, their LSL accrual is roughly $7K worth - what happens with LSL moving from part time to casual?

Thanks so much :)

  • Hi, MrsSwaino thank you for reaching out.

An employee's card can be updated with changes to their working conditions. Changes to pay rate, hours worked, and entitlements are included in this. Maintaining the same employee card guarantees that the employee receives a single payment summary at the conclusion of the payroll year.
